Juho Isola - CEO at Sanako

The current CEO of Sanako since January 2020 is Juho Isola. He took on the role when Sanako was struggling through the covid pandemic, trying to increase market share. According to his LinkedIn profile, he has served as an ambassador for the Fairforce ( a company linking professionals and green companies), was CEO of Tracy AI ( company developing micro session-based coaching software) and was co-founder and CEO of Taviq (a financial technology company which built digital products for hedge funds, wealth managers and large financial institutions). His experience within the tech industry certainly covers a broad range of technology applications.

Other Team Members

There is not a lot of information on the individual Sanako team members. As previously mentioned, they include cognitive science specialists, foreign language teachers and software developers - providing a good range of experts on either end of the product chain. They are a tight-knit unit of 9-11 full-time employees at their Finland head office; every member speaks with Juho on a first-name basis. They are very quick to react and adapt and are always looking for other technological companies to partner with (see earlier references about Reactored). That they were a co-sponsor in competitions like Ultrahack’s EdTech challenge speaks to their ability to adapt to the changing digital educational landscape . Their 220,000 Euro investment in Reactored proves this. This, and the fact that it has existed since 1961 in various incarnations, certainly speaks to the legacy of language learning expertise at their disposal
